NOTES ON
Installing D-Link DFE-670TXD Fast Ethernet PC Card
for Windows 2000 Users

This document contains installation notes, which is not included in the
DFE-670TXD Fast Ethernet PC Card USER'S GUIDE or on screen instructions,
for Windows 2000 users regarding DFE-670TXD Fast Ethernet PC Card
installation.

Follow these steps to install the DFE-670TXD Fast Ethernet PC Card's driver:

    1. Start your PC, then insert the DFE-670TXD Fast Ethernet PC Card
       into an available PC Card slot in your PC .

    2. After starting Windows 2000, the DFE-670TXD Fast Ethernet PC Card will
       be detected automatically, then the Found New Hardware Wizard
       window appears.

    3. Insert the DFE-670TXD Fast Ethernet PC Card Installation diskette
       into CDROM drive, then click the Next button.

    4. Select the "Search for a suitable driver for my device(recommended)",
       radio button, then click the Next button.

    5. Select the "CDROM drives" in Loacte Driver Files window,
       then click the Next button.

    6. Windows 2000 will start to search CDROM drive for network driver,
       and found a driver for this device:
            "D-Link DFE-670TXD"

       Click the Next button to install the driver.

    7. Click the Yes button, when "Digital Signature Not Found" to continue
       with the installation.

    8. Windows 2000 will start to copy the DFE-670TXD Fast Ethernet PC Card
       driver to the user's hard disk.

    9. Click Finish button.
