Requirements ÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄ  A PCI compatible computer  An ODI compatible network operating system  A PCI Family Series Adapter  A knowledge of basic DOS commands and editing text files Minimum Skill Level ÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄ  A knowledge of basic DOS commands  A knowledge of editing text files  A knowledge of DOS basic file structure (CONFIG.SYS and AUTOEXEC.BAT)  A knowledge of the network driver configuration being used  Please see Support Options if you are not comfortable with this skill level Compatibility List ÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄ  Any PCI Family Ethernet Adapter  For a Motherboard compatibility list please consult your local D-Link Branch Office  Because this version of driver follows Novell ODI Driver Specification Version 3.3, the old server must be patched to work well with this driver. The patch method is described as below: 1. Copy LOADER.EXE and LSWAP.EXE to the NetWare 3.12 server directory, must be \NWSERVER (if not, rename the directory name). 2. Execute LSWAP.EXE at \NWSERVER. Getting Started ÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄ  Copy the DLKPCI.LAN file from the \DLKPCI.lan directory into the subdirectory of your server. Type: >copy \DLKPCI.lan \NW312 ; if NW312 is the server subdirectory ; is the path where DLKPCI.lan resides. If the autoinstall was used =\SRV312.  Copy all provided NLM files into your server directory. Type: >copy \*.NLM \NW312  Run SERVER.EXE on the server.  Edit the AUTOEXEC.NCF file as follows: :load install Select Select  Modify the server's AUTOEXEC.NCF as follows: load C:\NW312\NBI31X.NLM load C:\NW312\MSM.NLM load C:\NW312\ETHERTSM.NLM load C:\NW312\DLKPCI.LAN bind ipx to DLKPCI net=xxxx ;xxxx is the network # ie. 33  Press Esc after editing.  Select "Yes" to save.  Select "Exit" to exit installation.  Shut down the server and then turn it ON again.  The driver is now installed and running.
