 Introduction

        This installation assumes that the PCMCIA drivers are working properly.
        Please consult INST_DOS.TXT for help with PCMCIA Drivers.
        Getting Started will describe the installation instructions.

 Requirements
 ÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄ
        A PCMCIA compatible Laptop
        A PCMCIA chipset that is PCIC compatible (Intel, Cirrus, Vadem, and
         VLSI) or Databook compatible.
        Netware Lite network operating system
        A DE-650CT (our single media cards are not supported, 650T and 650C)
        A knowledge of basic DOS commands and editing text files

 Minimum Skill Level
 ÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄ
        A knowledge of basic DOS commands
        A knowledge of editing text files
        A knowledge of DOS basic file structure (CONFIG.SYS and AUTOEXEC.BAT)
        A knowledge of the network driver configuration being used
        Please see Support Options if you are not comfortable will this
         skill level

 Compatibility List

        DE-650CT only (will not run with DE-650T or DE-650C)
        Removal of any present PCMCIA drivers

 Getting Started
 ÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄ
        Follow the normal installation procedure as described by NetWare Lite.
         When prompted for a network driver, simply choose "NOVELL NE2000".

        After completion of the installation procedure, modify the following
         lines in your STARTNET.BAT file from:

                  LSL
                  NE2000
                  IPXODI A
                  CLIENT
        to:
                  LSL
                  DE65SODI
                  IPXODI A
                  CLIENT

        Append the <PATH>\NET.CFG file to the NWLITE directory.  This
         directory was created when you installed NetWare Lite.  <PATH>
         is the directory where NET.CFG resides.

        Run STARTNET to access the Novell network.
