This guide will walk you through the basics of using the DI-701. It will explain what cables to use to connect the DI-701 to a Cable or DSL modem, and how to configure its internal settings. Please follow each step exactly and in order.

At times you will see the words global and local. Local refers to any computers or networking equipment that is at your home or office excluding your Cable or DSL modem. Global refers to the Internet side of the DI-701, this will be connected to your Cable Modem/DSL Modem and through that to the Internet.
