Reduced Transmit Hum and Noise performance.
Description:
If MC2100, MC900 or GM900 mobile radios are programmed to transmit at 
frequencies in the ranges of 153.26Mhz to 153.34 Mhz, 155.36 Mhz to 
155.44 Mhz they may have reduced Transmit Hum and Noise performance.
Solution:
For MC2100 series radios:  Radios produced after week 18 will not 
have the problem described.
For 900 series radios: Closed RSS (R05.00.00) will be released  in  
week 18
If the problem is experienced with Closed RSS (R05.00.00) the 
following should be done: Find the following patch files in the RSS 
directory on the hard disk:
patch.709 
patch.707
Copy the files as follows:
copy patch.709 patch.004
copy patch.707 patch.005
Read and write radio codeplug. This will place the patches in the 
radio memory. This should only be done if the effected frequencies  
are used.
Delete the patch files as follows :
del patch.004
del patch.005
NOTE:
IMPORTANT : It is important that these patches are deleted after 
programming as these patches reduce the amount of memory in the radio 
which is available for programming.
