1 Alarm Description
The alarm is raised when the CSCF does not have sufficient configuration to process traffic and the cscfISPOperationalState is DISABLED.

|---|---|---|---|---|
|
The CSCF does not have sufficient mandatory configuration to process traffic. |
The CSCF is misconfigured or not configured and therefore is prevented from processing traffic. |
The Additional Text in the alarm states which attributes contain erroneous or missing configuration data. Only attributes related to which CSCF applications that are enabled by parameter cscfISPBehavior are output. |
The I-CSCF, S-CSCF, and P-CSCF applications are not configured to receive or send traffic, resulting in that none of the I-CSCF, S-CSCF, and P-CSCF applications are reachable for other nodes, which means that SIP calls towards these applications fail. |

2 Procedure
2.1 Handle Alarm CSCF Mandatory Data Not Configured
Prerequisites
- This instruction references the following documents:
- No tools are required.
- The following condition must apply:
- The alarm is raised.
Steps
- Is a reconfiguration planned on the node that requires
to take the node out of service?
Yes: Ignore this alarm until the reconfiguration has been completed and proceed to Step 6.
No: Continue to the next step.
- Is the parameter cscfISPBehavior configured to reflect the latest site configuration information
for the enabling of the I-CSCF, S-CSCF, and P-CSCF applications?
Yes: Continue to the next step.
No: Reconfigure cscfISPBehavior and then proceed to Step 4.
- Check and correct the attributes from the
field Additional Text in the alarm.
For more information about the configuration management parameters, refer to Managed Object Model (MOM) and CSCF Configuration Management.
- Has the alarm ceased after correcting
the configuration?
Yes: Proceed to Step 6.
No: Perform one of the following options:
- Repeat Step 3. Check for more missing parameters, or make sure that the parameters were configured correctly.
- Continue to the next step.
- If the alarm is not ceased, consult the next level of
maintenance support.
Further actions are outside the scope of this instruction.
- Job is completed.
