Readme for QLogic MultiBoot Package

 This read1st.txt file provides the basic information required for updating the
 QLogic adapter using automated procedures. For more detailed information on
 using the flashing utilities, please refer to the appropriate subdirectory.

1. Contents Of Multiboot Package
--------------------------------

 The files contained in this Multiboot package are zipped into a file that 
 will expand to provide the following versions for the Converged Network
 Adapter (CNA).

2. Multiboot Code Update Methods
--------------------------------

 The table in section 1 references the files needed to update the multiboot code
 using any of the methods listed below: 

 1) x86   environment (BIOS):     Boot to DOS
                                  Run the update.bat

 2) x64 UEFI environment (UEFI):  Boot to UEFI Shell
                                  Run update.nsh 


 3) SPARC/PowerPC environment (FCODE):  Boot to a supported OS 
                                        Use the latest SANSurfer or QCC to update the bootcode
