No major new features, just fixes (mainly typos) and one removal:
LZW_CLEAN is now defined by default, i.e., no unshrinking.  This
seemed like a prudent thing to do in light of certain recent events...

Please test this dude as much as possible; so far things are looking
pretty good for a release in two or three weeks.
