  A couple of quick questions that will help us determine what might be going
on..

1. What version of Volumizer are you using? (1.0, 1.1, or 1.1 w/ patch 3696)

2. Have you tried recompiling the code after you upgraded the OS?

3. How far do the demos get before dumping core?

FYI, Volumizer has been tested on IRIX 6.5 on O2, with no known problems..
