iflto3Dtiff on xdim != ydim tiffs?

morn,
    i'm using iflto3Dtiff program to generate 3D tif images to view
using Volumizer classes. The command:

iflto3Dtiff *.tif output.tif

works fine when my *.tif files are of equal x/y dimension (i.e.
512x512)... but output.tif is messy when input .tifs are of unequal
x/y dimension. Is there are way around this? I've no man pages for
iflto3Dtiff.
