AA-lib is a library for rendering images using ASCII (tty) output.
The ascii-art
library home page has more information, including sample output.
A few test drivers are included with this package:
- aafire -- displays burning ascii art flames.
- aainfo -- displays information about what drivers aalib will
use for the display, keyboard, and mouse, and what parameters,
such as screen size those drivers will use.
- aasavefont -- saves a font to a file.
- aatest -- tests the capabilities of aalib.
Developers intending to use this distribution
for application development should be sure to read the information
in FAQ 3.8.
