Activation/Licensing Method:

	- License Patch 

	- File Name: Single.pm

License Patch Features:

	- Bypassed GPG signature check:

		The license data is passed as strings as provided in the license file and validated via the GPG signature. All you had to do was bypass the GPG check to provide a valid license.
		
		You can play around with all the possible licenses that Aruba/HPE provides for these appliances, modifying the license we have provided to you as you wish (you just need to change the signature to a letter of your choice if you receive a duplicate license). 

		For the expiration date, you need to modify Expires_on and Expires (UNIX timestamp). What matters is the UNIX timestamp in Expires in the expiration calculation process.


How to activate:

A patch.sh is provided in the release that will do everything automatically.

I recommend placing patch.sh and Single.pm on a PC with ssh installed (needed to excute scp by patch.sh), in the tmp folder.

All you need to do is:

	1. Deploy the appliacne and perform the full installation.

	2. Boot the VM using a recovery ISO (I recommend almalinux boot iso), mount the partition (with almalinux in recovery mode, press 1, c, and ENTER, and it will do automatically the mounting of vmimage01 disk and mount it on /mnt/sysroot).

	3. chroot /mnt/sysroot (#bash4.2 should appear).

	4. execute 'scp (-P if ssh port is different than 22) user@<ip-address>:/<folder>/patch.sh ./'

	5. execute 'chmod +x patch.sh'

	6. run './patch.sh'

	6a. Enter the values requested by patch.sh

	7. execute 'rm patch.sh'

	8. Reboot

	9. You can now add the license in the license.txt file.

Manually Patching:

	1. Deploy the appliacne and perform the full installation.

	2. Boot the VM using a recovery ISO (I recommend almalinux), mount the partition (with almalinux in recovery mode, press 1, c, and ENTER, and it will do automatically and mount it on /mnt/sysroot).

	3. remove original Single.pm (make a backup if you want before pathing) located in '/usr/local/airwave/lib/perl/Mercury/Licensing/' and '/var/airwave/git/mercury/lib/perl/Mercury/Licensing/'

	4. copy patched Single.pm in '/usr/local/airwave/lib/perl/Mercury/Licensing/' and '/var/airwave/git/mercury/lib/perl/Mercury/Licensing/', check Single.pm is 644 (rw-r-r) and root:root in both path

	6. Reboot

	7. You can now add the license in the license.txt file.
