The user must first install the Operating System from a Cisco Conference Connection 1.1(1) CD installation kit. ccc-fmu.1-1-3.exe file contents should be used instead of the CD 2 from the installation kit. =============================================================== Part 3: Obtaining the Latest Documentation and Release Notes =============================================================== The latest copies of all documentation can be found on Cisco Connection online at the following location. http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/voice/cccdocs/ The document list includes the following: Cisco Conference Connection Administration Guide Cisco Conference Connection Quick Start Guide Release Notes for Cisco Conference Connection 1.1(3) Note: Older Release Notes may also be present and can be ignored. =============================================================== Part 4: Install and Upgrade Instructions =============================================================== 1. Copy the ccc-fmu.1-1-3.exe file to your CCC server machine. 2. Extract the ccc-fmu.1-1-3.exe to obtain the CD image by double-clicking on the file icon in the Windows Explorer. 3. In the WinZip Self-Extractor window choose some temporary directory, for example c:\rdv. Click "Unzip" button. Do NOT unzip the file onto the desktop. 4. After unziping, the following subdirectories will be present: CCC IPRV USERSYNCHINSTALL 5. Proceed to install or upgrade your software. New Installs: If this is a new installation, follow the instructions in the Release Note for Cisco Conference Connection 1.1(3). Start in the section: "Installing Cisco Conference Connection 1.1(3): New Installation". Upgrades: To upgrade an existing CCC follow the instructions in the Release Notes for Cisco Conference Connection 1.1(3). Start in the section:"Upgrading from Cisco Conference Connection Release 1.1(x) to Cisco Conference Connection Release 1.1(x)" NOTE: All provided instructions apply to the new installs of CCC 1.1(3), as well as to the upgrades from 1.1(1) to 1.1(3), and from 1.1(2) to 1.1(3). =============================================================== Part 5: Build Number Information =============================================================== This release uses Cisco Extended Services version 2.2(3), and has been tested with Cisco CallManager release 3.1(2c) and 3.2(1). =============================================================== Part 6: Additional Release Notes =============================================================== 1) CCC changes needed when upgrading CCM from 3.1(x) to 3.2(x) -------------------------------------------------------------- a) Log into the Application Engine webpage: http://servername/AppAdmin, where servername is the DNS name or IP address of the Cisco Conference Connection server; or by going to Start->Programs->Cisco Extended Services Administrator->Application Administrator, if working on the Cisco Conference Connection server. b) Click on Engine. c) Engine Status page is displayed. Click on Stop Engine button. d) Open browser on CCC server and log into Hawkbill Call Manager admin page: http://servername/ccmadmin, where servername is the DNS name or IP address of the Call Manager server e) Click on Application->Install Plugins->Cisco JTAPI f) Choose "Run program from its current location", click OK g) "Do you want to install and run CiscoJTAPIClient.exe?", click Yes h) "Cisco JTAPI Client, ver. X.X(x.x)", click Continue j) On Maintenance Operations window choose Upgrade from vX.X(x) to vX.X(x), click Next k) Choose Yes, I want to restart my computer, click Finish l) The upgrade of Call Manager from 3.1 to 3.2 will result in the removal of the ODBC Live Sync Agreement (Metalink User Synchronization Process), which therefore will need to be restarted on the CCM server. Please, perform the procedure described in the section "Starting the User Synchronization Process" of the Release Notes for Cisco Conference Connection 1.1(3). =============================== You MUST use CCC 1.1(3) software with Call Manager 3.2(x), there is an automated script to ease the process of starting and setting up the Metalink process. ===============================
