Release Notes for BARS 4.0(9) SR1

Important Information:

This update release, BARS 4.0(9) SR1, is primarily being released to accommodate backup installation and functionality on a CCM 4.2(1) system. There is no change wrt CRS, CAR or CER functionality.

NOTE that this SR release is an update to a previously installed BARS 4.0(9) release and is not a full, self-contained release of the BARS utility.

Installation Instructions:

1. BARS 4.0(9) SR1 must be loaded only AFTER BARS 4.0(9), Filename: MCSBackupSystem.4-0-9.exe is installed.
2. BARS 4.0(9) SR1 must be installed only on backup server. It is not required on backup targets.
3. BARS 4.0(9) SR1 is required only if backup and restore of CCM 4.2(1) is desired.
4. BARS 4.0(9) SR1 is required only if backup and restore of CAR 4.1(0.40) is desired.
